Golden Retreat
We are a Golden Retriever breeder and so we have many Goldens that live on our farm, called Famn Damily Farm. We have a newly developed section of land on our property that we are opening to a “Golden Retreat” playdate. People can book certain times with us, and we will have anywhere between 7 to 9 of our adult Golden Woofer Dogs here to play with them!
Our Vision
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. Where Our Goldens Live
Our current play area for the last 25 years is about 2 ½ acres & encompasses our home, garage, pens, & pond. Adjacent to this is our 3-acre pasture & arena. This was for horses a long time ago and has gone unused for many years. Last year, we started getting it cleared out. In the wooded area we cleaned out all the dead trees & wild rose bushes. We added drainage pipe near the lower north end to enable us to mow it all summer long, as it was very swampy. We are currently building a 12-foot by 32-foot pavilion for picnic tables & purchasing a porta potty as well. We also attached wire dog fencing to the existing post & rails, so our kiddos are contained. This new section will be available for you & our dogs to play in at Golden Retreat. We will be using our old arena for parking. It is so exciting to watch this old pasture come back to life and we’re excited to be able to share it with all of you for playdates!
